Briarcliff Studios is a small Chicago based game developer. We are composed of a group of developers who worked together at a mobile games studio and decided they were tired of building other people's games. With a combined 25+ years of experience, we have experience developing on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and several other platforms.

History

Early history

The members of Briarcliff Studios met while working for a small mobile game developer based out of Chicago. While working for this company, they worked on games for J2ME and BREW mobile platforms as well as creating games for Microsoft's Zune and Zune HD devices. They would go on to develop for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, working on dozens of games across a wide range of platforms for publishers including Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Disney, Glu, and many more.

After that

After years working on other peoples' games, the members of Briarcliff Studios decided it was time to start making their own. Their mission is to build awesome, original games that are genuinely fun and unique. They are committed to only making games that they would want to play themselves! The first Briarcliff Studios game, "Climbin' Carl," was an addictive retro arcade game for Windows and Windows Phone. Briarcliff's second game, a humorous cartoon target shooting game titled "Scorched Toast," is also now available for Windows and Windows Phone.
